How to fill in a Skyjo score sheet

Before the first deal, write each player's name at the top of a column. At the end of each round, all cards are turned face up. Remove any column of three matching cards. Add up the cards left in each grid. Then check the player who ended the round. Write each round score in the row for that round, and add it to the player's total so far.

The doubling rule for the player who ended the round

The player who flips their last card ends the round. If their round score is not the lowest of the table, it is doubled. Mark that player on the sheet, so nobody forgets to check. A small tick next to the score is enough.

What if the finisher ties for the lowest score?

A tie is not enough. The finisher must have the lowest score on their own. If another player has the same score, the finisher's score is still doubled.

What if the finisher scores zero or less?

Then there is nothing to double. A player who ends the round on zero or on a negative score keeps that score as it is.

When does the game end?

When a player's total reaches or passes 100 points, the current round is finished and the game ends. The player with the lowest total wins. That is why the total column matters more than any single round.

Does the sheet work for Skyjo Action?

Yes. Skyjo Action adds action cards, but you still write one score per player per round and keep a running total. Use the same sheet.

A worked example

Three players: Anna, Ben and Chloe. In round 1, Anna ends the round with 12 points. Ben has 8 and Chloe has 15. Anna does not have the lowest score, so her 12 becomes 24. In round 2, Ben ends the round with minus 3, the lowest score. He keeps minus 3. Anna has 10 and Chloe has 6.

A worked example
RoundAnnaBenChloe
124 (12 doubled, ended the round)815
210-3 (ended the round)6
Total34521

After two rounds Ben leads with 5 points. Nobody is near 100, so the next round is dealt.
